About
Grandi is where Reykjavík reinvents itself. Warehouses that once processed cod now host VR flying experiences, design shops, and tasting rooms — a 15-minute walk from downtown and worth half a day.
Known for
Grandi is Reykjavík’s most reinvented zone — former fish factories now house FlyOver Iceland, the Saga Museum, Whales of Iceland, craft breweries, design studios, bakeries, and some of the city’s best ice-cream. It’s a flat 15-minute walk from downtown along the waterfront.
